On 18th December 2020, the Management Board of CARGOTOR: CEO, Mr Andrzej Sokolewicz and Board Member, Mr Piotr Wojcieszek eigned an agreement with Mr Jak Sikora, Mayor of Zalesie Municipality, to collaborate on the modernisation and redevelopment of railway and road infrastructure junctions in the area where Małaszewicze Logistic Park will be located.
The agreement provides for the rules of collaboration on the redevelopment of four rail-road crossings located within the Municipality of Zalesie. This is the next step towards the implementation of project no 2015-PL-TM-0037-S, “Modernisation of the Railway Infrastructure at the Małaszewicze Cargo Terminal of Corridor 8 freight lines at the EU – Belarus border crossing – design studies”, co-financed under the EU instrument “Connecting Europe”.
