On February 20th 2020, a delegation of the Japanese Ministry of infrastructure visited Małaszewicze. It was a long-planned study visit aimed at the verification of operational capabilities of entire Małaszewicze Cargo Terminal in the context of increasing the transit transportation of containerised shipments between Japan and the EU.  The delegation was headed by Mr Shogo Miyajima – Counsellor of the Minister of Infrastructure in the field of logistics. The guests could see the railway infrastructure facilities vital to the process of transportation and handling of containerised cargo.  They visited the container terminal operated by PKP CARGO TERMINALE and the signal box in Kobylany operated by CARGOTOR – an independent railway infrastructure operator.  Presentations of both companies were delivered on CARGOTOR’s premises in Małaszewicze. A special presentation of the Małaszewicze Logistic Park project was given by Mr Andrzej Sokolewicz, CEO of CARGOTOR, while the PKP CARGO Group’s intermodal capacity was outlined by Mr Maciej Krochmalski – Board Member of PKP CARGO TERMINALE.
