On June 22, 2021, a meeting was held in Małaszewicze between representatives of CARGOTOR sp.z o.o. inter alia, President Andrzej Sokolewicz and the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lublin. The meeting was attended by i.a. representatives of the management of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lublin in the persons of the Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, brig. Grzegorz Alinowski, Deputy of the Lublin Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, senior brig. Piotr Zmarz, Deputy Head of the Logistics Department, brig. Tomasz Baran and the Unit Commander of JRG Małaszewicze brig. MSc. Szymon Semeniuk. The group of other participants of the meeting included local government officials, representatives of PKP PLK S.A., officers of the Border Guard and the National Revenue Administration.
At the meeting, the logistic and operational requirements of the State Fire Service, necessary to undertake effective rescue and firefighting measures in the facilities located in the future Małaszewicze Logistics Park were presented.
The creation of the most modern in Europe – Logistic Park Malaszewicze will have a positive impact on the flow of goods transported by rail between Asia and the Old Continent, and consequently the number of containers and other goods transhipped in Małaszewicze will increase. As a consequence, it will be necessary to increase the forces and resources of the State Fire Service intended to secure the operational area of the Logistics Park Malaszewicze.
